Student-Driven Education Grants RFP

WA-SEN Student Driven Education and Advocacy Grants

Request for Proposals (RFP) 2020-21

The Washington Student Engagement Networks (WA-SEN) initiative is making available student led project funding to educate state legislators, and to support the recruitment and activation of student advocates to deliver the student voice to state legislators throughout the year.

Application deadline: Rolling basis

Grant Award (3): $2,000 per region

Submit early, as grants will be reviewed and awarded on a rolling basis! Please provide 7-10 days after submission for review. We encourage early entrants following academic years. Regional groups who submit early will be weighted more favorably. Proposed projects should be implemented and completed within proposed timeline. Projects with a timeline of completion within 12 weeks of approval are ideal.

A budget template and copy of the online application form is provided for planning purposes. A fillable form is also available upon request.

After formally submitting your groups proposal online, you may receive feedback and a request to revise some aspect of your plan. It is our goal to fund all viable projects that have concise outline proposals within budget. If you receive feedback, please revise and re-submit your proposal. WA-SEN is happy to meet with you to provide guidance.

When your project is complete, you are required to submit a report that includes results, receipts, and any other documentation helpful to the WA-SEN initiative. Final reports are due no later than 4 weeks after project completion. A template will be provided.
