Meet our 2023 Columbia Regional Coordinator, Becca Tibbetts!
Becca earned her Associate of Arts and Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Management at Walla Walla Community College. She is currently working on a Master of Arts in Higher Education Student Affairs at Grand Canyon University. Social issues she is most passionate about in higher education are food and housing insecurities and childcare accessibility. During her term as the student body president at Walla Walla CC, she helped students regain access to the campus food pantry where she is now the food pantry coordinator. Becca also advocated for students who need access to childcare, creating the opportunity for a CCAMPIS coordinator on the Walla Walla CC campus. She found interest in participating with WA-SEN because of the opportunity for empowering students, community building, advocacy/representation, student well-being, leadership development, networking opportunities, and partnerships/collaborations. She is excited to be a part of WA-SEN because it will allow for growth opportunities, she believes in the mission and purpose of the organization, and appreciates the positive work culture.
