Carely Arteaga

Carely is now working for Communities of Rooted Brilliance as a Youth Program Coordinator.
Cennady Coleman

Cennady is now a College Bound Regional Officer with the College Success Foundation.
Denisse M. Guerrero

Denisse received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Whitworth University.

Denisse has been the Membership and Policy Manager at Washington Community Alliance since 2019
Kelsey Monaco

Education
Kelsey received her AA from South Puget Sound Community College and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Legal Studies from Saint Martins University. She continued her academic journey at Columbia University where she received her Master’s of Arts in Human Rights Studies
Where are they now?
Kelsey is now an intern for Global Initiative for Economic, Social and Cultural Rights. She is a volunteer with Peace Corps’ Community Development, The Legal Aid Society, and International Rescue Committee, and is a member of Local Group 4 with Amnesty International USA.
Mustapha Samateh
Position at WA-SEN
2020-21 King Region Coordinator
Education
Mustapha received his AAS in International Relations & Affairs from Edmonds College, and a Bachelors in Political Science and Government from the University of Washington where he served as the student body president from June 2021 to June 2022.
Where are they now?
Mustapha has a long history of student government work dating back to his days at Edmonds College. He is now working as a council member at Washington Student Achievement Council since being appointed by Governor Jay Inslee in July 2022.
Riley Dolan
Position at WA-SEN
Riley started out as a Campus Liaison for WA-SEN in 2018-2019. He then served as the Interim Statewide Coordinator from July to December of 2019.
Education
Riley graduated from Pacific Lutheran University with a double major in Political Science and Hispanic Studies with a minor in Nonprofit Leadership and Peace Corps Prep. During his time in undergrad he was a part of the Amnesty International Society at University of Oxford and the Public Policy and International Affairs Fellowship at Carnegie Mellon University.
Where are they now?
Dolan is now working at Onalaska Equity as a part-time Organizing and Communications Director. He is also a Chief Consultant at Comm-Unity Solutions and a Fellow at the Institute for Democratic Future.
Ro Boyce-Gjeçi

Education
Ro attended Edmonds College for her AA, then transferred to the University of Washington – Bothell where she got her Bachelors degree in Public Health & Gender Women Sexuality Studies and a Masters of Public Health and Policy.
Where are they now?
Ro is now the Project Manager for DESC (Downtown Emergency Service Center) and Chief Executive Officer of Tranzzlation – a black transwoman-led grassroots organization dedicated to the advancement of all queer and trans folk, specifically those that are BIPOC Trans identifying.
Shelly Hoffman
Position at WA-SEN
2021-2022 South East Regional Coordinator
Education
Shelly received her AA in General Studies, then her BAS in Organizational Leadership, both from Grays Harbor College. She then studied abroad at De Haagse Hogeschool, The Hague University of Applied Sciences and graduated in June 2024 from Eastern Washington University with a Masters in Organizational Leadership.
Where are they now?
Shelly is currently the President of Washington State Trio Association, a Trio Support Specialist at Grays Harbor College and an Associate Regional Coordinator for Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society International. Shelly is also an advisor at Hope Squad, a peer-to-peer suicide prevention program.
